Half a pint in the Thomas Botfield, Telford Town Centre on Sunday 8th March 2026. Very pale, but bright golden body, white crown that hung around. Fruity and thirst quenching, nice blend of hops, but a few more might have helped it's depth of flavour. I did enjoy it though.

Third of a pint in my local Spoons on 7th March 2026. Best beer of the six I had during my little tasting session at the festival. Poured a lovely golden amber colour, a red hue shining through, on top a solid beige roof of tight bubbles. Citrusy nose and taste with a good blend of fruity flavours balanced with a subtle malt presence.

Cask handpull at Shakespeare Head Holborn JDW. Clear mid brown colour lasting beige head. Yes some malt. Some light chocolate flavour. Could do with a bit more brown malt to be a brown ale. Not any real bitterness on the finish. Light fruit esters. Some yeast character on aroma. Bit bland.

Cask handpull at Captain Flinders JDW Euston. Clear old gold colour lasting off white head. Some toffee flavour. Some dryness on the finish. Mostly a toffee caramel beer with some hops appearing at the end. Some bitterness on the finish. Needs more hops to be a west coast ipa.
