Bottled.
Amber red, floating fine yeast. Steady cloudy head. Grassy and fruity lemony nose. Crisp, grassy, a bit alcoholic flavor. Some caramel and sugars also can be tracked. Quite "Belgium" ale, not French or a bière de Garde at all.

Orange color, some fine floating yeast, huge white head. Sharp lemony, citric aroma. Lemony spicy citric flavor. Fresh lemon and grass. Kind of Duvel-copy. This has nothing to do with a bière de garde -style.

Bottled. Reddish amber colour, no head to speak about. Aroma is sour and metallic with hops and yeast. Flavour is sour fruit along with caramellly sweetness. Yeasty aftertaste. Quite similar to L’ ambree d’ esquelbecq in many ways.

Bottle Black body, frothy brown head. Very fresh aroma of flowers, malts, ginger, vanilla, mint: interesting. The aroma has the same effect on your nose as a mouth refresher to your tongue: it really freezes it for a moment by it’s freshness. A little bit weak moderately bitter aroma with some funky fruitiness. Very stouty as well. Nicely balanced and innovative. I like it.

Bottle, BBE August 2007 Clear, brown-reddish colour. Off-white fizzy head. Aroma of malts with some spices: quite good. Quite bitter flavour, not very intense bitter, but no sweetness or sourness present. Some soapyness is floating underneath the bitterness. The balance and complexity are lacking a bit. All these remarks are making the beer less enjoyable.

Pours bright hazy gold into a tulip. Fluffy white merinque head. Lemon and spice aromas. Lightly carbonated, but spritzy on the tongue. Bitter spice, earth basement and hops from front to back. Lasting hop finish.

Hazy brown color, medium head. Aroma of caramel malt, bit spicy, some sugar. Bit sweet taste, malty. Not bad for such low alcohol %.

An unclear orange beer with a huge light orange head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of wheat and oranges. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and oranges. The body is a bit thin.
