Sample @ BXL BeerFest 2018, shared with Belgian RB crew, thanks. Noire sur un col doré, le tout est doré au verre. Arôme au nez malté caramel et chocolaté, petite touche grillée et sucre caramélisé en retrait. L'apport de riz donne un bouquet intéressant grains. Palais est plaisant et là l'effet de riz se démarque avec une addition maltée dark, profile sec. L'usage de levure sake semble offrir une dimension plus fruité au palais, il est aussi évident que l'effervescence est un poil plus active. Reste à savoir comment Lienne brasse cela, en basse temp style lager?

Sampled @ BXL Beerfest 2018. A hazy pale golden beer with a mid-sized good lasting white head. Aroma of mild hoppy yellow fruits, yeast, citrus, flowers. Taste of mild dry grassy bitter hops, hay, citrus, pale, interesting.

Nose is bitter coffee, umami, chocolate syrup, plastic syrup, chocolate, plastic syrup,… Coffee plastic chocolate, mocha, some umami, basic chocolate plastic, basic chocolate,… Basic chocolate syrup, harsh plastic Not as exciting as the concept but good.

Clear dark brown beer, no head. Aroma: lots of yeast, banana, caramel, soft roast, fruity notes, nice! MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish, yeasty, fruity touch, caramel, some banana, soft roast, little sour. Aftertaste: little bitter, chocolate notes, sweet, malty, caramel.
