Bottle at home. Cloudy orange water colored. Smell the lime from across the room. Tastes of lime, raw dough, salty, some wheat. Fine tart palate. The lime is a bit overpowering for my taste but a nice summer brew.

Bottle at home I trie to drink only new England brews during Pats games if I can. Cloudy yellow with green tinge and big white head. Nose is lemons and yeast. Tastes of lemongrass, yeast, trace of malt, straw. Very dry light fruit on finish. Touch watery palate.

Draught @ Rattle’N’Hum. Slightly hazy dark orange with small foamy white head, low carbonation, acidic aroma, sour taste with a hint of bitterness, thin body, medium bitter finish. Not a very spectacular brew.

Draft at Blind Tiger - NYC. Pours hazy gold with a frothy white cap. Nice coffee aroma, underscored with a bit of ripe orange. Medium sweet flavor with rich and lightly bitter coffee, some bready malts, faint cocoa notes. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Balanced finish, with more fresh coffee, mellow citrusy tang, orange, grapefruit. Looks tough on paper but the end result actually works exceptionally well.

Draft at the Blind Tiger - NYC. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Pithy citrus in the nose, dry pale malts, citrus rind. Light sweet flavor with prominent minerality, rindy lemon, pithy grapefruit, light bitter hay. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Very dry on the finish, pithy and minerally. OK.

Tap at Meadhall. It pours cloudy creamy gold with a medium white head. The nose is fresh, clean, juicy, sherbet, sweet tropical fruits, pineapple, nectarines, stone fruits and bread. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, grassy, peppery, stone fruits, straw, minerals, earth and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body, soft, foamy carbonation. Very well - rounded and drinkable. Nice one.

Draught at Lord Hobo, 9/19/15.
If I’d never had Kent Falls’ beers before, I’d be highly skeptical of a coffee-infused 100% brett fermented IPA, to say the least. Even having had Waymaker and having loved it, I was still pretty suspicious to try this.....
Clear bronze/brass liquid is obviously a bit darker than the pale blonde waymaker, but is not really dark (dosent look like a brown ale, perhaps just a crystal malted IPA). Head is light beige, small, receding to cover fairly steadily.
Soft, even, mild coffee notes in the nose mix with honey, graham cracker, vanilla, sweet cream and just a touch of fruitiness from the hops/yeast. There’s no power struggle in the nose, rather just a pleasantly fruity, coffee mild-like aroma with no alcohol or flaw.
The flavor is soft, velvety coffee, but backed by creamy-sweet honey notes, an easygoing roasted bitterness and juicy hops that somehow don’t clash with the coffee. Moderate to low carbonation, but tight and ample enough with no alcohol or flaw. Don’t know how this works, but it certainly does and it’s really impressive. Ordered a second one a few hours later it was so good.
