Ise Kadoya Hop Don Double IPA 8% Matte gold with thin white foam and a richly dank west coast ipa aroma. Full bodied and sweet oily stone fruits with a resinous dank smokiness. Tasty satisfying big double IPA.

I didn’t realize this was a collaboration with Mondo Brewing… Ise Kadoya x Mondo Rhubarb Gose Fruited Gose 5% Matte gold with fizzy white foam. It’s got a tart classic Gose aroma with mild rhubarb notes. Medium bodied, super tart with some acidity and salinity. The taste starts off straight gose but then it ends with rhubarb notes. Pretty good.

(Bottle) Pours slightly hazy (maybe I should have avoided the sediment) with a good white head. Lovely citrus aroma with floral hints. Medium body with good fine carbonation. Good taste too. There’s plenty of hops through the palate with a good long bitter finish. There is some caramel and candy sweetness in the background and some good peppery notes. Very enjoyable.

Bottle, about 3 years old. Orange-brown, hazy, with a thick, low head. Nutty caramel nose, oranges. Soft, semi-sweet, toffee, citrus, toast. Very silky, smooth body.

Bottle. Pretty modestly hazy orange with an inch of white head. 3+ Aroma of grapefruit peel, crackers, some mandarin, papaya. So it tastes. Dryish, perhaps a little weak in the middle and with more modest bitterness than I'd like. But another good one.

(Bottle) Pours clear pale golden with small white head. Pleasant aroma of bread, bananas, notes of citrus and spices, particularly cloves. Good mouthfeel. Medium body with mouth filling carbonation. Good taste. Pleasant fruity, tart and banana, start. Quickly followed by peppery spice, which builds to give a pleasant peppery bitter finish. Very enjoyable.

Ise Kadoya x Yuya Boys Neko Ippiki Red IPA 6.5% The look and aroma of this is spot on red ipa,really nice though I’m not a big fan of the never ending expansion of their Neko line. Malty biscuit with peppery notes (rye?) with citrus and piney hops.’ice Amber orange with thick light beige foam that leaves copious lacing behind. Medium bodied with a little bit of a chewy mouthfeel. Nice piney citrus, well balenced by the malts with a slight peppery note. Really spot on.

Aromas of mango, papaya and grapefruit. Nice tangy bitterness in the mouth. Rich mouthfeel and good length. I can feel the alcohol a little in my throat, but otherwise it's great.

Bottle. Misted gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma of lemon rind, some herbs, hayish malt. A bit barely sugar sweet but with pleasant citrus and some resin towards a fairly bitter finish.
