Bottle. Nose is fruity, light caramel, toffee. Taste is caramel, brown sugar, sweet malt, the slightly metallic and acidic note that I associate with all Wychwood beers. Thin mouthfeel

0.5 l bottle @ home. Pours black with beige head. Nose is weak coffeish notes. Taste is similar, ho s bit more potent, combined with some metallic notes and and slight fruits. Closes with pleasant roastedness that lasts long. It’s not enough to save it altogether, apart from this, the beer’s quite mediocre.

0.5 l bottle. Pours clear golden with thin, white head. Nose is almost non-existent, only some faint fruity and floral notes can be dected. Taste is actually the same, although a bit stronger than the aromas. Closes with weak bitterness. Light body, soft carbonation. Huge meh.

0.5 l bottle. Pours mahogany with thin, persistent head. Nose is fruity-flowery with decent malty backbone. Same applies to the taste: fruits come upfront, followed by biscuit-like malts. Decent, and well rounded. Short bittersweet finish, soft carbo, light body. Proper bitter.

Bottle from the lcbo. Clear copper pour, medium white head. Light hops, lightly pungent, green leaves, grasses, soft pine. Low bitterness, light cereals, soft resinous finish. Pretty mild, hints of diacetly, boring.

Another disappointing beer from this brewery. There is nothing imperial or special about this beer. Typical light UK hopping, with the same biscuity, slightly bready, slightly yeasty malt profile all the beers from wychwood have. Boring.
