Craft Beer. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy bubbly white head. Light palate, slightly silky. Mild fine carbonation. Good balance of fresh pale malt and mid bitter hop with minerally citrus. Semi dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Easy drinking but more hops would be good.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Light haze on this gold beer. Residual white head. Light semi dry palate. Nice marmalade hops - grapefruit and orange. The beer is ruined by sulphur notes. Semi dry finish.

Cask at CRAFT Beer Co, London on 24th March 2012. Thickly cloudy amber with thick foam white head. Rich grassy hop aroma. Thickly, and exquisitelyhoppy in-mouth and a fine bitterness. Satisfying bitter grassy aftertaste on a smooth yet engaging mouthfeel. Amongst the best cask IPA’s I have tasted in 2012 so far.

Cask at The Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Half-baked dough aroma, some big wet straw. Light sweet flavor, kind of flat, some white sugar, lemon, dry straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Light sweet finish, some pale malt, straw bitters, light sugar. A basic golden ale. Some lasting bitter hay. Not too bad.

Cask, gravity at Oxford Beer Festival, Fri 28th Oct 2011 I hope that I’ve got the style right with this one, sorry if not. Dark brown pour with a light beige head. Nice earthy flavour’s but there is a good persistent hoppy streak throughout. Touch rustic but very likeable, finish is a little dry, tasty, really tasty. Difficult to rate stood up with glass, programme etc in hands as well. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov16 3.6

Cask, gravity at Oxford Beer Festival, Fri 28th Oct 2011 Amber in colour with a large bubbly, foamy white head. Little bit of citrus, also a tiny tang of sour fruit, quite bitter, not bad. Tricky to rate stood up in a busy corridor area, holding programme, beer etc. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov12 3.2
