(bottle, shared by pivnizub) Hazy golden to light amber colour with a small creamy off-white layer. Dusty, sour and fruity (apple & citrus) nose with woody resiny elements. Moderately sour and well-rounded fruity taste, medium body, smooth carbonation; woody and slightly tart palate, lasting dry and tart finish with well-hidden but almost warming 7% ABV. Aromatic and tasty.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Colour is yellow, with little head, hazy. Very fruity nose, with hints of bubble gum and ripe pears, sweet but very promising. Taste is sweet with bubble gum, pears and tropical fruit (mango, pineapple), gets a bit drier towards the finish (which is rather short). Light body, or actually thin. Lovely nose, but the taste doesn’t really deliver. Refreshing, however.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 3 June) Well, a faro from Mort Subite? Doesn’t come with high expectations, does it? Colour is dark, mahogany with ruby notes. Nose is fruity with cherries and wild berries, sweet but balanced, even with some chocolate notes. Taste is fruity with caramel and brown sugar. Surprisingly complex and well balanced. Actually a lot better than expected.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm) Colour is orange, clear, no head, absolutely still. Nose is acidic, with a distinct aroma of apple juice and slight hints of malt vinegar. Taste is acidic, again with lots of apple juice character. Slight sweetness, but not very much. Somewhat one dimensional, but still, better than expected.

Bottle. Powerful, candy-like raspberry aroma. Dark red colour, very small white head. This is just hindbærsaftevand with bubbles.

Bottle. Green apple aroma, very distinct and sweet, somehow artificial. Golden colour, very small white head. Apple flavour, marcipan, a bit sweet. Seems to have a bitterness like an apple core. Swelling mouthfeel. Nasty aftertaste, like very cheap white wine.
