Description

On tap @ Borefts 2014. Looks really nice this. Deep pink, almost a little purple in the glass with a small bubbly white head on the top. Nose vise it has a nice citric sharpness. Is it brett in this? Citric berries, could be a blue one, but for me it's more like raspberries . Lemon juice and grains. Nice aroma. Really lightdrinkable. Like a thin watered down Blueberry lemonade. Really lightdrinkable as mentioned and not a bad one at all this. 26.09.2014

Opaque dark brown beer, good fluffy tan head. Palate is airy and a little dry, low carbonation. Mellow dark malts, some dark chocolate. Modest dark fruits and a trace of rye tang. Light finish. Fine.

330mL bottle, pours a filthy dark brown with a small beige head, with a big yeast soup. Aroma is nasty, with ash, fire pit smoke and even some tartness. Flavour is earthy, smoky and certainly infected, with ash, fire pit smoke, dirt, some tartness and dirty yeast. I guess I see what they were going for, but this is a huge mess. Undrinkable.

Bottle from Reserve A Biere, Colmar, Alsace, France, consumed outside Frank at Campingpark Lindelgrund, Guldentahl, Germany, Germany Monday 27th June 2016. Pours gold, light yellowy gold looks nice and with a nice mid sized steady white head atop. Fresh, clean and hoppy, but not stridently in yer’ face hoppy. It’s nicely bitter but sweetness adds balance, it’s fruity and with a nice dry end. I like this, I liked the Perle IPA (another French IPA, diff’ brewery beforehand). A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7

Bottle picked up from Beers and More in Zurich, Switzerland, consumed at Fischers Fritz Camping outside camper whilst making home-made burgers, Saturday 25th June 2016. Pours murky yellowy brown colour. Pretty decent beer, nice streaky fruitiness, but pleasant bittersweet throughout. Nice mouthfeel, a little dry finish. Good beer. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Bottle from eebria shared with Stuu666. Pours black with a thin ring of white head. Aromas of light roast, little else. Taste has a faint saline tang, more roast and wood. Quite thin again. Seems to be characteristic of these French beers.
