Clean, amber colour with a frothy warm light beige head, average retention and decent foamy lacing clouds. A caramel malt base nose with some nutty notes, apples and eventually grassy hops appearing. A lot of the same in the flavours with butterscotch notes, almonds, apples and the grassiness being milder here. Not a bad, malty English Pale ale that goes down nicely.

A gift from Paul, thanks man! Aromas have maple dominating with a little bit of molasses, raisins, leather and dark malt. Flavors are similar to nose, molasses, raisins and bitter come out more. Just right carbonation to balance the sweetness. And the sweetness is balanced very well with bitter and carbonation. Pretty good beer.

Can picked up by my SIL in Montreal. Pours a clear amber, head to messy ring fairly quickly. Decent mildly toasty malt, middlingly sweet, with primary bittering hops that lingers fairly significantly. More ESB than anything, but enjoyable enough for what it is.

Hoppy leads with fairly dominant bitterness, a little resin. You can feel the orange lurking in the back. Bready malt, barely sweet. Some tongue coating cilantro. Lingering bitterness with just a touch of hop burn. Can from Quebec thanks to my SIL.
