I've been looking forward to this one for awhile. Poured a rich red-brown, full of yeast sediment, and with a light tan ring of foam. Aroma starts off with strong nutty notes; caramel and fruit aromas appear as the beer warms. Rich, full-bodied flavor: very fruity, with brown sugar in the aftertaste, finishing like a Belgian Strong with vinous qualities. Earthy hops are evident, especially on the back of the tongue. A very smooth, solid "winter warmer."

Caramel-copper bodied, with an off-white ring of foam lacing the glass. Pine hops aroma, with some bitter notes. Caramel and toasty malts balancing the piney hops flavors. Little citrus. A nice session APA from the folks at Boulevard.

The entire package is present and accounted for. Cloudy yellow-orange body, thin white head, predominance of banana esters, coriander, and touch of orange peel. Definitely a quality Witbier, although various examples of the style tend to converge and become undistinguishable.

I've wanted to try the Bully! Porter for some time now, and was happy to find it in St. Louis during a recent visit. Bully! has a nice, garnet red-brown body, topped with a thin tan head clinging to the glass. Roasted and smoke in the aroma. Interesting flavor reminds me of the Dark Horse stouts. Strong roasted malts, smoke flavors, and licorice. A touch of hops bite. A solid porter.

An impressive lager by Boulevard. Isn't this an Oktoberfest/Marzen? In any event, pours clear copper, with a thin off-white head. Aroma was very light but sweet. Flavor is rich and malty, with caramel and fruit competing with floral hops accents. Drinking this lager makes it easy to identify, by comparison, poorly done lagers (especially several recent Oktoberfests).

Very large head, rocky and with sizeable bubbles. Burgundy-tinged dark brown colour. The aroma shows a black malt acidity, the cookie part of an Oreo, and hints of coffee. Dark malt bitterness pervades on the palate, with cocoa, almond shell, and a touch of flowery hop far in the background. Slightly tart in the finish. Thin body overall. I can see the popularity of this beer - it shares many traits with the great one (St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout) - the bitterness, strong dark malt character...but it is neither as complex, nor rounded, nor full of body as the great one. It is decent, but definitely Tier Two or Three.

Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a medium off-white head. Thin lacing. Aroma is lightly hopped and a little citrusy. Medium-bodied and crisp with a decent hops flavor through and through. Very little malt but it is there. The finish is crisp and rather hoppy. This beer really does nothing to offend, although it doesn't really take any chances either.

(draught) Straw yellow; slim white head. Light spicy nose, bit of coriander. Citrussy without outspoken orange peel aroma. Spicy witbier taste, wheat, coriander; lemony touch in the finish. Light mouthfeel, refreshing. Nice, light white.
