Clear dark blond to orange beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, caramel, sugary, some grains, hint of marzipan, pretty boring. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, malty, quite some banana, pretty sugary. Aftertaste: slightly sourish, sweet, overripe banana.

12.07.2018 -- 0.33l bottle from leclerc in strasbourg rivetoile, 1.70€, bb 07.12.2020. pours a clear amber with a steady off-white head. aroma of raisins, barleywine, rye bread, booze. flavour of oak, herbal bitter, rye bread. sweetish but not cloying. long bitter finish.

Bottle bought ages ago from that French distro that no longer shops to the UK. BB 08/16. Ithought it would be a hassle to open like my previous 3 Monts bottle but after I knocked off the metal staple the cork shout off of its own accord. Funky basement aroma. Amber. Bubbly white head. Light bitter with a caramel sweetness. Warming booze. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft carbonation. Astringent finish. Went down easily enough but not overly exciting.

Dunkelrote, bräunliche Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, röstmalziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, röstmalzig, fruchtig, schwach hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit und aufkommender Trockenheit, spürbar alkoholisch, jedoch gut eingebunden, mittlerer bis voller Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Kicsi, tartós hab, gyönyörű, kristálytiszta borostyán szín, egy pici rezes árnyalattal. Malátás alapillat, némi egres és egy hajszálnyi szőlős vonással. Malátás, enyhén fűszeres ízek, némi egres és szőlős aromával. Kissé édeskés, közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Kellemes, de nem sokkal emelkedik ki a kommersz sörök közül.

A pour from the bottle on Black Christmas V. Pours a clear pale goldeon with a white head. Smells and tastes like a strong lager. Meh.
