Bottle from Hausmann. Light orange hazy, excellent lasting head. Citrus lemon bomb nose. Flavor is smooth, big creamy mouthfeel, hint of banana with all the citrus. Nice high carb, super refreshing when it's 90F.

On tap at Schonhammer brewery Saturday 2nd July 2022 on a 52km Waging am See Traunstein loop. Pours gold, good clarity, bitterness quite prominent, dryness, really drinkable, light fruitiness. Like this, great beer to start with and already for a contender for beer of the day.

0.5 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before September 2022. Hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, quite fruity-floral aroma of pear, pineapple, banana and some honey. Gently sweet, malty, quite yeasty-spicy, moderately fruity-floral taste of banana, pear, pineapple, honey and light clove, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, quite yeasty-spicy, minimally tart finish. Medium to full body, smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, probably average carbonation. Lovely Weizenbock, quite fruity and full-bodied, not too yeasty and somehow refreshing. Finally a Weizenbock I really liked after quite some disappointing encounters, a good example for why I love the style.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas, cheers Jonas. Had this Wednesday 29th June 2022 at home, listening to 6 Music, about to cook Chicken Cacciatore. This is marvellous, a wonderful underlying spicy bitterness, sweet maltiness, looks great, clear gold with a sparkle, some honey sweetness, warmth from the abv. Superb.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours unclear pale yellow with a small, fizzy white head. Moderate sweetness, plenty of lemon and lime, citrusy sugars. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Sweet finish with mild citric tang. Enjoyable, very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours light golden, white head. Clean and strong hoppy flavor. Nice bitterness. A bit flat.

Bernsteinfarben, ganz minimal trüb. Röstmalzig. Etwas getoastetes Roggenbrot, nur ein Hauch von Kaffee und ein etwas größerer Hauch von dunkler Schokolade. Die Süße hält sich zurück, ist aber auch nicht zu röstig / bitter / trocken. Im perfekten Röstungsgrad des Malzes scheint der Großteil der außergewöhnliche Gefälligkeit dieses Biers zu liegen - alle angenehmen Nuancen sind vorhanden, alles was man negativ auslegen könnte, ist nur in den Spuren zu finden, die als Charakter zu bezeichnen sind. Der Hopfen ist klar erkennbar - was bei diesem Bierstil nicht immer der Fall ist. Ein wirklich gut komponiertes, sehr süffiges dunkles Bier. Ein klein wenig mehr Substanz und der Begriff „genial“ wäre durchaus nicht übertrieben. In dieser Form aber im besten Sinne anspruchslos. Ein dunkles Bier, das keine besondere Stimmung oder einen Anlass braucht, um genossen oder einfach nur schnöde konsumiert zu werden. Wobei die Betonung hier ganz klar auf „Genuss“ liegen muss.
