Brouwerij Slaapmutske owns 1 brewery:
Description
Dany De Smet, a brewery engineer, and his wife Dany De Smet, a brewery engineer, started brewing beer "in the kitchen" in very small quantities (about 50 liters per brew). In 1999 the couple decided to start a beerfirm so in 2000 Slaapmutske was founded. In order to meet the ever-increasing demand, we decide to work together with the Proefbrouwerij in Lochristi to brew the beer there under license.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a hazy golden with a white head leaving laces. Sweetish aroma of fruit and yeast. Quite full-bodied, again with these sweet fruit notes and some yeastiness and diacetyl. The finish is quite alcoholic. 060507

Bottle, 8.1%. Sweet, friuty aroma, a little vinous. Quite cloudy orange colour. OK white head, creamy but small. The flavour starts off with malt bitterness, turning slightly aroma hoppy and then malty, sweet and alcoholic. Nice and harmonious.

Aroma of malt and yeast; perhaps a slight hint of banana. Golden ripe apricot color with a decent white head that laces. There are phenolics, its sweet then it’s dry, it starts rather bready, but the hop is there, and it’s really pretty good. The finish is nicely bitter.

Considerable hops in the aroma, especially for a Belgian ale. Light malt under that. Malt and fermenting fruit in the flavor. Brown in color, no visible sediment, and a thick and heavy palate. Unusual and worth trying.

A deep red beer - quite unclear due to lots of sediment floating around, under a fluffy but big brown head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy, but also with notes of caramel and fruit - especially peaches and oranges. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of spices (nutmeg and more), caramel, nuts, and wood, leading to a dry spicy end. I find the body a bit thin.
