Mooch tasting at Matt's
Hazy golden color with generous head. Dirty yeast smell, light apricot. Highly carbonated, some good malt base, some bitter citrus peel, but also too much dirt from the yeast.
Clumsy.

Hazy light amber. Thin head. Some brett, with a hint of yeastiness. This is yeasty and sweet, fairly simple, and then there’s a tart bretty note. Decent brew.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is quite woody, with lots of wine barrels, tannins, saison yeast and some stone fruitiness. Flavour is very complex, with lots of wood, red wine barrels and funky yeast. The booze is felt in the strength, but there's no abrasiveness. Lovely stuff.

Little disappointed from a Belgian beer perspective. A little too bland malty to be right. But you are getting some nice yeast notes, that does hit the mark.
