Bottle. Hazy orange colour with a white head. Sweet fruity aroma, with some hints of alcohol. Sweet malty and fruity flavor with some caramel hints. Warming and dry finish from the alcohol.

bottle - Pours a bit cloudy with a moderate, long lasting head. Nice hop aroma, surprisingly sweet taste with a bit of citrus and hops. Light and finely carbonated with a mild hops finish, it would indeed make an excellent session beer. I will echo the only complaint of some other raters, I could do with a little more hops, but this is a good beer.

(Bottle 75 cl) Unclear, dark amber with floating, tiny impurities. Small, off-white head. Distinct alcoholic nose. Very full body with plenty of caramel. Somehow appears a bit stuffy and perhaps over the top. Sherry accents in the finish that has no real bitterness. 270106

(Bottle 75 cl) 10% ABV in my version. Ruby red with a small, white head. Complex, vinous, sweetish aroma. Very full-bodied with sweet port-like notes and some fruit. Appears a bit too sweet - actually a bit cloying. Very limited bitterness. 160106

(Bottle 75 cl) Beautiful, dark mahogany with a small, off-white head. Extremely malty aroma with loads of dried fruits. Very full body again with tons of roasted malt and dried fruits - raisins and prunes in particular. Markedly sweet. A lovely, rich and wholesome brew. 160106

(Bottle 65 cl) Beautiful dark amber with a small, off-white head. Fat, flowery and slightly perfumy aroma hops in the nose. Body is dominated by sweetish caramel and toffee. Quite light and very drinkable with a faint, dry, bitter whiff from the aroma hops. Doesn’t at all remind me of a British-style ESB, more like a watered-down American Barleywine. And that’s not a bad thing.... 160106

Poured with a tall fluffy head that didnt go away. Tasted of hops, citrus and grapefruit, with a crisp but also thick mouth. Good bitterness but not over the top. One of the best IPAs Ive had.

Bottle. Nice mahogony color with no head. Yeasty, plum and some malt in the aroma. Plum/sherry flavors with sweet malt/candy sugar and some yeastiness. Full bodied. Lingering malt/yeast complexity. Hides alcohol well.
