Tasted yesterday in honor of Canada Day, cheers! Cloudy golden color, massive white ice cream cone head, solid lacing. Aroma of duty, earthy lemons and straw. Taste is barnyard, rising bread dough, sour citrus. Very nice.

Hazy tan. Phenolic and slightly fruity aroma, with maybe some barrel influence. Tart and sweet, oaky and fruity. Finishes a little bit tart. Fun, new world interpretation of saison.

Dark brown with a bubbly head. Smells lightly fruity and like it will be creamy. It is creamy with sugars - maybe too many but it is a foreign stout so there is leeway with that. Not much nuance, and perhaps lacks the heft, fruit and alcohol of the style. Reminds me of an oversized Irish stout.

Amber and cloudy with a fruity aroma. There is pear and plum on the nose. Drier on the palate than the nose indicated, there is nevertheless a fair bit of melony fruitiness. Finishes hoppy and dry.

Fruity nose and some unidentifiable notes. Soft, diacetyl body with mango, canteloupe and light pear juice. Strange beer, I’m not sure what to make of it.

Black. Rich malty, chocolatey aroma. The flavour has a nice balance, mostly chocolatey and with a light acidity late.

Hazy blonde. Light bubbly head. Smokey and with a little tartness. Sour and a little smokey. Good beer, but not as complex as I might have hoped for.

Draft: Poured a dirty beige color ale with a medium size foamy had with OK retention. Aroma consists of rustic malt with floral and herbal notes. Taste is a complex mix between some rustic malt notes with some floral undertones and light herbal notes. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Nice mix between complexity and drinkability. I would love to have this beer available to me on a more regular basis.

Draft: Poured a hazy light amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention. Aroma consists of weird and unique note of citrus and fruity notes with a lightly sweet malt backbone. Taste is also a mix of fruity and citrus notes which I thought originated from the hops but the brewer mentioned were coming from the malt bill which is very particular. Body was quite full with good carbonation. Very unique tasting beer and not sure I would drink vast quantities but very glad to had a chance to try this one.
