Description

Small to medium yellow/brown head; hazy deep reddish-brwon. Caramel, slight roasty bitterness; much fruity esters. Perfumed, very estery and roasty-burnt chocolate, and a whiff of hops. Finish has, warming up, a little smoked hint, what doesn’t spoil anything. Reasonably well-bodied, quite carbonated, faint alcoholburn. Quite roasted double.

Receding huge white head, leaving rings over golden-orange beer; Pale malts abundant, relieved by some peppery hops, faintly aromatic with green grapes or honeysuckle. Taste is also aromatic, more fine flowery with some toast, going to caramel. Well-attenuated, but a little restsugars all the same. Each new sip yields a bit of the grapey flavour. Warming up, more sweet emerging. Medium bodied, bit slick, CO² obvious. Good tripel, not spectacular.

Small, just off-whtie head over faintly (cold?)hazy orange-yellow beer. Bit toasted & pale malts; faint yeastesters. Just sourish, citrussy. Spritzy, with some fruity sweetness in the background. Light to medium bodied, gristslickness. RIPENED! beer. Thé advantage (if taken) of 75cl bottles, compared to tapbeer: this beer has had time to come to its senses.

Flavour is acidic/citric brett with a delicate underlying spiced malt base. Has a nice sweetness beneath the malt and the acidic notes. Light liqourice note in the far finish. Quite nice and fresh.
