Bottle @ home. Cloudy murky red-brown color, small beige to light brown head. Smell malts, dried and overripe fruits. Taste malts, grapes, plums, some bitter, some roastyness. Medium carbonation, medium body.

33cl bottle. Cuivrée trouble, col épais ocre qui diminue assez vite pour laisser un doigt de mousse. Arôme est agréable oscillant entre un bouquet aigre fruité léger et un malt grillé. Rappelle aussi le massepain. En bouche, bière très agréable à déguster. Profile malté grillé/caramel avec une pointe de torréfié. Le tout garde une présence fine d’aigreur de fruits noirs; cerise, cela se mélange bien avec un houblon qui rajoute une amertume modérée et fait que tout reste bien balancé. Sur la fin, je note une note douce, presque de vanille ou guimauve.

Bottle @ home. Hazy pale yellow color, thick white head. Smell sour, musty, cellar. Taste malts, some sourness and something weird. Don’t like it.

Bottled @ Dutch "the Good, the Bad & the Ugly" tasting. Hazy yellowish color, medium head. Aroma of urinoir, toilet, soap. Dry taste. I dont know Danny, it might actually be a very nice guy, but please stop brewing!

Pours a cloudy amber to brown beer. Aroma is acidic, touches of wood, smoke. MF is flat, very thin body and watery texture. Taste holds caramel, roasted malts, some sour apple. Aftertaste holds more roasted malts, a little sour and a bit of hops. The sour touch makes this beer interesting, although I'm not sure if it was intentionally.

Draught Very dense, creamy, yellow head over hazy amber-brown beer. Vegetable nose, estery and slightly liqueurish. Not disagreable. Bitterish, woody, roasted, bit estery, and cacaopowder flavours. In the aftertaste (yes!) there is sweetness, the cacaopowderflavour turning into milkchocolate. Well bodied. A world of difference with the first try of the Blond. All for the best!

On tap at 3rd Brugs BF, as Kwibus Blond. Light hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of flowers and fruits, light sour. Flavour is fruity, flowery, a bit grainy, light bitter finish. Light to medium bodied.

Bottle 33cl.Light unclear light to medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy yeasty, burnt rubber. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090320]

Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a weird hospital-like medicinal note. The flavor is sweet malty and rather hospital-like, combined with light notes of spices, phenol, and plastic. The body is thin.
