Cask at craft 100 Craft Beer Co. Hazed golden orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is wet grass, orange leave, grainy. Flavour is sweet orange, grainy, light biscuit malts. Palate is semi sweet good cask condition. Pretty standard golden with decent hop character. Lingering orange and grassy hop.

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas of bready yeast, floral hops. Not getting ginger, unless it’s that light spice more. Not getting honey either, although it has a sweet finish. Thin body, decent.

Bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras and drunk at home. Hazy dirty pale gold with a touch of orange colour. Thick ivory colour head. Some vegetable on a light estery hefe aroma. Ok in the mouth. But I feel that it’s a bit safe. Not too estery, not too intense in the flavour. Good hops on the finish that are leafy and balanced and rather attractive. But it’s a bit safe as I say. Doesn’t push the hefe envelope. A bit like an apa with a hefe yeast. Lacks excitement but the flavours that are there are absolutely fine and some elements are quite attractive.

Bottle from Mr. Pickles, Sheffield. Hazy, pale gold. No head. Sour fruit, not unlike very dry cider. Cherry. Some marzipan like sweetness in there. Taste is bone dry, and fairly tart. Palate is crisp and fresh. Dry, sour finish. Still a little sweetness wriggling about. Very nice.

Cask at Tapped, Leeds. Hazy gold. Thin, tight, clingy, white head. Soft, sweet malt. Light, tropical fruit. A little fusty orange. Taste has an initial, malty sweetness. Pithy biter. A little dryness. Soft, syrupy palate. Finish has more sweetness, turning bitter on the close. Too sweet for me.
