Keg at The Hanging Bat. Pours hazy amber, big bubbles, thin head. Aromas of maple for sure, moresugary notes. Taste brings light smoke, but very light. Grew on me as it warmed up. Dry finish. Good.

Shared bottle at Midlands Meet on 24th Aug 2014. Poured a cloudy, hazy yellow, the head a thin white topping. The spicy aroma had citrus notes and a definite thyme twist, as did the taste which also had a yeasty feel along with a mini pepper like warmth. Interesting but not really my thing.

23rd Aug 2014 in Sophie’s Creperie, 330ml bottle. Hazy yellow pour with a white topping. Yeasty, citrusy and spicy in both the nose and taste. Orangey feel as a taste backbone, sweet and sour feel overall. Interesting blend of flavours with the wheat content coming through as well as those orange hints. Different.

Clear orange beer, creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, floral, citrus, bit resinous. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, malty start, fruity, bit metallic, some citrus. Aftertaste: little sour, malty touch, pretty bitter, lemony, lychee, some grapefruit. Nice, but not overwhelming.

Bottle - Dark bitter roast malts and some dark fruit. Jet brown with a rich light brown head. Dark roast malts and the espresso slightly in the finish. A light fruity acidity is in the background which diminishes the richness.
