Description
Opened on 14th May 1997, The Inveralmond Brewery is at the very heart of our beer. Situated in Perth, the brewery nestles between the fabulous rolling hills of Perthshire, the mighty Grampian mountain range and is surrounded by crystal clear rivers, providing inspiration and nourishment for the beers we produce and export around the globe.

The brewery moved during March 2010 to their current location where a 30BBL plant is used. During April 2016 they were taken over by Innis & Gunn.

(Cask) Clear mud brown, good big dense head. Subtle hop aroma. Medium body with gentle carbonation. Lovely taste with some rich toffee malt at the start and nice hoppy bitterness in the finish. Very nice.

Cask @ The Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton before Derren Brown. Golden amber pour, good off-white head. Maltloaf vibes, with toasted malt and light toffee touches. Ok.

Fluffy white head stayed on an unclear golden coloured body. Zesty citrus & wet cardboard aroma. Medium bodied, lively on the tongue with a clean back. Tangy citrus, grain, peach & lightly hopped tastes. Decent Quaffer.

Bottle from Tesco. Clear golden, fizzy white head. Sweet aroma, grainy, notes of honey. Taste brings an edge of bitterness, bready, grainy flavors and a touch of honey. The bitterness is enough to distract me from the sweet malty flavors. Near miss for me.

Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a golden oprange with ample white head. Aroma is mainly floral hopas but with some generic citrus too. Citrus and hops again in the mouth where the texture is creamy. Some caramel and hints of fudge too. Slightly more bitter in the finish. Just a standard boring bitter / golden ale really.
