500ml bottle – Pours a clear amber colour with a small loose off-white head that quickly dissipated. The aroma is malty, sweet rich malts, light caramel, flapjack and a hint of woody spice. A sweet malty taste, caramel, buttery and white bready flavours with some grassy and resiny hops in a drying light bitter finish.

Jaja, ikke noen winterwarmer, akkurat. Men det burde jeg innsett før jeg åpnet flaska.

Bottle, 0.5l. Deep amber pour, one finger frothy off-white head. Weak retention, short lasting head, leaving some lacing on the glass as it goes down. Nose is earthy and herbal, grassy notes, tea leaves, subtly toasted. Not bad. Light body, medium carbonation, lively. Soft mouthfeel and texture, moderately chewy, a bit fizzy. Pretty nice on the palate. Moderately bitter taste with subtle sweet notes in the background. Aroma of toasted caramel, toffee, nuts. Bready, earthy, herbal. Moderately spicy, hints of stale grass. Tea leaves, dried fruits. Short to medium lasting finish, dry. Quite decent.
