Description
Opened on 14th May 1997, The Inveralmond Brewery is at the very heart of our beer. Situated in Perth, the brewery nestles between the fabulous rolling hills of Perthshire, the mighty Grampian mountain range and is surrounded by crystal clear rivers, providing inspiration and nourishment for the beers we produce and export around the globe.
The brewery moved during March 2010 to their current location where a 30BBL plant is used. During April 2016 they were taken over by Innis & Gunn.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a cream colored head. Caramel and light toasty aroma with some mineral notes. Caramel flavor with mineral, light citrus, and light grass. Medium bodid. Caramel lingers with mineral and lemon.

Golden. Very spicy character. Coriander and maybe some clove. Light caramel malts provide the backdrop. A little alcohol gets in there as well, which is not a good sign in a session beer.

Amber with a thin head. Vague aroma is lightly fruity. Fairly light toast character, but this beer is mainly about the pale malt. A basic, refreshing beer.

Cask, handpump at The Malt & Hops, Leith Nr Edinburgh in company of Craig, Rob and friend (sorry forgot name) & Loz 29.10.10 Pours mid amber with a white head, a touch sweet ( bit of confectionary shop going on) There is a bittersweet bite, touch shallow. This beer I noticed brought to an end a run of some 53 beer ratings 3.0 or above, I donβt normally look out for things like that but was just looking at what Iβd had in October and noticed this slightly unusual sequence. Sadly my next rating (which may not go in sequence) was also a below 3.0 score. A6 A4 T5 P3 Ov11 2.9

Cask at the Bon Accord, Glasgow, via hanpump through sparkler, on 22 April 2010. Amber with thick lasting and lacing creamy white head. Malty without being excessively sweet. Pungent earthy aroma and notes of berry fruit. Malt returns in the finish on a smooth creamy mouthfeel that encourages fast drinking.

@ Canonsgate. Golden colour. Loose head. Toasted butter aroma. Tastes more like toast, with light butter. Very light body - probably a bit too watery.
