Description
Opened on 14th May 1997, The Inveralmond Brewery is at the very heart of our beer. Situated in Perth, the brewery nestles between the fabulous rolling hills of Perthshire, the mighty Grampian mountain range and is surrounded by crystal clear rivers, providing inspiration and nourishment for the beers we produce and export around the globe.
The brewery moved during March 2010 to their current location where a 30BBL plant is used. During April 2016 they were taken over by Innis & Gunn.

bottle - Pours amber with a lingering off-white head and lots of big, suspended yeast flakes. Thereβs a fruity, caramel malt aroma. It has a fair amount of hops bitterness in the flavor to go with all that fruity caramel sweetness. This brew is medium bodied and enjoyable.

(Bottle, Bishopβs Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, grass, peaches and fresh floral hops. Fruity taste with citrus, apricots, grainy malt and fresh floral hops in the finish. Balanced body, fairly dry, with balanced sweetness. Not really exceptional, but nice and refreshing.

Bottle: Poured a light brown color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of grain and cereal with some dry notes and limited sweetness. Taste is also dominated by dry cereal with lightly unrefined grain notes and minimal residual sugars. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. A bit too dry and grainy for my taste.

Cask-conditioned at Blackfriars, Glasgow 18/06/10. Amber coloured with a slight white head. Sweet, caramel aroma with some summer fruits. Flavour was similarly sweet and malty, with a touch of citrus hop, mineral edge and moderately bitter finish. Ok.
