Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a light haze and a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral cereal with light dry hops is mildly enjoyable. Taste is refreshing and easily quaffable with notes of cereal with light residual sweetness and some floral undertones. Body is slightly more full then average with good carbonation. Limited character but refreshing notes makes this an enjoyable session beer.

cask at Abbotsford in Edinburgh - Pours amber and has a mild malt aroma with some distinctively British hops presence. The flavor has a good, moderately bitter flavor and subdued caramel malt. Bitterness lingers pleasantly in the finish.

Courtesy of Blazer06. It pours clear copper with tan head. The aroma is full and fragrance counter perfuminess, spices, earthy gravel like sweetness (?) – strange. The taste is similar with the nose notes mixing with some crystal malts and folding into pine hops. Odd brew.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Amber in colour with a scummy cream head; grainy aroma; light citrus and grain flavour and a short dry grapefruit finish. An OK bitter.

Cask. Copper colour with yellowish beige head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops, mild parfume, caramel malts some mild herbal notes as well. Flavour is bitter hops, some wood, mild honeyish sweetness as well as bready and caramel malts.

Cask at Blackfriars, Glasgow on 24th April 2010. Copper with collapsing yellow-white head. Caramel malt and slightly metallic tastes, citric kick with a bittersweet finish, rather lacking in distinctive flavour. Saved by its slightly saline mouthfeel.

Bottle 500ml.Light unclear medium orange amber color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, citrus - orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100313]
