Aroma has notes of cantaloupe, peach, pine, cannabis, tangerine, orange creamsicle. Taste is moderately bitter with a crisp, fruity, piney hop flavor profile. All the hop character of an IPA while being much more crisp and quaffable.

Bottle (label says bottled Nov 28 2016) shared with Johnny. Murky brown color, average sized beige head. Aroma is malts, plums, very fruity and some candy sugar. Flavor is malts, light caramel, plums, again quite fruity and definitely candy sugar notes in there. A bit sweet at first, a bit bitter in the finish. Very cool to finally be able to drink this one.

Aroma is catty, piney, crackery, pineapple, orange. Taste has a high pithy bitterness with piney, citrusy, tropical hop flavors. Perfectly carbonated creamy mouthfeel. A classic for a reason that still holds up.

Aroma has notes of pine, crackery malt, grapefruit. Taste has a moderate pithy bitterness and no real sweetness. Crisp, clean flavors. It’s good, but I remember being a lot more impressed with this when I was at the brewery ~15 years ago. Either my tastes have changed or the rest of the beer world has caught up with what Russian River was doing decades ago, so this seems pretty average now.

Bottle, by way of a trade. Cheers Max. Mostly clear pale gold. Sticky leggy lasting white head. Easy 5. Nose has fully ripe mango and pineapple flesh. Big piny sappy character. Mouldy satsuma to boot. Nice biscuit malt backdrop. Yeah it’s fruity and dank in spades overall, though. All that and it drinks super easy. Impressively clean and a little dry among the hops and malt. Lingering sappy bitterness to finish. Met expectations.

Bottle from Nugget Market in Woodland, CA. Pours gold with a large persisting creamy white head. Aroma is citrus and nectarine. Dry. Med body. Bitter, tho fruity. Flavor is citrus, nectarine, melon and some earth. Very delicious.
