75cl bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, Aug 15, courtesy of Mademoiselle Haddock. Pours black but gushy. Herbal plummy aroma. Quite a complex taste considering it’s just 4.3%. Grains, coffee with a big, dry tobacco finish. Not too much citra but still quite an interesting one.

Slightly hazy deep golden colour, huge frothy off-white head, good retention and lacing. Light fruity aroma, grain, lemon, grass, herbal notes. Taste medium sweet, light bitter touch, bit fruity, light malty. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, develops more bitterness in the aftertaste but especially rather spicy (pepper, ginger, coriander) and a bit dusty, okay.

Draft. Clear pale yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of fresh lemonghrass. Taste is lightly peppery, subtle lemon, fresh hay. Tasty compared to other lagers.

Pretty nice for a lager. No adjunct bs at least. Pours hazy golden with good head and lacing. Light crisp finish. Tap at Churchkey.

33cl Bottle from Vonk. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of hard-roasted malts, salty caramel, tar, cocoa. Flavour is medium sweet, berries, roasted malts, burnt malts, tar, caramel, cocoa, chocolate, coffee, firm bitter finish. Light bodied, firm carbonation. Very tasty low ABV stout.

Lots of foam when pouring. Pleasant aroma with resin, sweet fruity tones and hayish malt. Foamy palate. Flavour has grapefruity hops, biscuity malt, resin and mild mineral tones. The first sips were nice but then this starts to feel too hayish.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mild spices, some floral and bready notes along with mild grain. Flavour is grainy, some wooden notes as well as mild salty and yeasty notes. Easy going and a surprising bland brew from this brewery. Almost lager like, but Lager not mentioned on the bottle.
