33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet Storo. Pours pretty hazy amber with a lasting white head. Fruity, malty, caramely and spicy aroma with notes of flowers, honey, yeast and dried fruits. Sweet, fruity and flavourful with some hoppy notes and a light bitterness in the finish. Surprisingly nice and well balanced. Hint of alcohol is noticeable, but this is dangerously drinkable and certainly a brew a would like to drink again.

Straight from Kobe Bryant! Pours a dark hazy brown with a creamy brown head that dissipates to the edges slowly. Aroma has a choclatey roast with a note of hops and menthol. Flavor starts with chocolate and roasted malts and a hint of citrus but finish is all menthol.

Bottle @ Y.N.W.A Beershop. BB 02/13. Pours cloudy golden with a fine white head and lacings.Citrus, hay, grass and mild honey and yeast. Gladly still some hops left. Delicious. One of my fav. Belgium breweries.

Bottle 375ml.Clear medium orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, grass, moderate to light heavy yeasty, light alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, peppery, fruity, hoppy, alcohol, wood, buzzy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic - buzzy. [20121109]

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dry chocolate, dark malt yeasty. Bottle, Hoppy Loft. Well, well, my second Simcoe lager. Dominating in that category, I am. Poured a hazy yellow-golden body with a medium sized white head. Kinda sweaty agrumey grainy nose. Light herbal aromatic grainy taste. Surprisingly pleasant. Like a lighter Rulles Estivale (thanks to the bartender for giving me a chance to reevaluate that one!). The world needs more lagers like this.

Hazy blond color with generous compact head and sticky lace. Aroma of fruity hops and spicy yeast, mild. Dry mouthfeel, soft, well carbonated; the malt flavor is well spicy; correctly bitter, but without clear hop qualities; long final, Belgian style, a bit sandy.
Good beer, well brewed, should have been drunk earlier.

Small off-white head; well-carbonated, hazy ochre-yellow beer and faint mossy sheen. Despite the naming, especially dry pale malts spreading upon opening. Bit rainwater, grassy. Little hops, in fact. Grassy, herbal, dry, but definitely more hoppy flavourwise - if rather oxydated ones. Rather watery MF, again rainwater-like feel. Well-carbonated, little going on. Underhopped as a ’typical’ USA lager, underpowered as a Pilsner. But - quite refresing, easily drinkable.

Bottle @ 12.000 Celebration Tasting, Odense. Pours unclear orange with a small white head. Nose is sweet fruit and caramel. Vinous. Marmelade, orange and caramel. Flavor is alcohol, caramel and fruit. A sipper with a lot of warmth and a bit of oxidation and dust.
