375mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a tiny beige head. Aroma has some gentle bourbon barrels upfront, with a thin toasted malt base underneath. Flavour is bourbony, with a nice barrel character. But the base beer is thin and lacking much depth. Good expression of bourbon but the beer could have more.

A deep dark stout with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, coconut, coffee grind, musty character, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light vanilla, light coconut, alcohol warmth, very nice.

Des notes de mélasse, de chocolat fondant, de crème brulée, de réglisse noire, d’anis, de rhum qui font de cet olfactif un des plus complexes rencontré à date. Liquide noir et opaque sans aucune mousse. Extrêmement chocolatée en bouche avec de beaux accents de mélasse sur une base de rhum et de whisky. En sous-note, du caramel fondant, du café velouté, de la vanille. Les houblons, à peine perceptibles, sont légèrement épicés. La finale est douce, sucrée et empreinte d’un doux alcool juste bien dosé et sans aucune agressivité. Le corps est entier avec une texture crémeuse, veloutée, presque sirupeuse. 375ml (thx, Marc-Olivier L.!) @ Ryan's after kids' time. Appearance: dark brown with a weak beige head. Aroma: charred American oak, sweet, some fruity notes, some green apples too, looks like, and hickory. Taste: along the same lines, a bit thin, quite a lot os the smoky hickory notes. Overall: ok, nothing impressive is here, unfortunately.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Very dark brown with minimal beige head. Whiskey barrel and hint of wood glue on the nose. Taste removes the wood glue character, but is also a bit thinner bodied. Lacks a bit of depth, but okay. Room for improvement.

Right. Deep Black color and a smooth tan head. Nose of raisins, almonds, sweetish. Smooth mouthfeeling. Vanilla and almonds, milk chocolate and a decent roastyness.
