17/6/2025. Bottle from Don Gennaro, Pescara. Italy rating #250. Pours hazy pale gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is coriander, wheaty, citrus, orange, herb, hint of mint. Fairly sweet, mild bitterness. Moderate body, light foamy carbonation. Nice coriander fruity finish. Liked this.

16/6/2025. Draft at Shaka Brew, Pescara, Abruzzo. Pours very slightly hazy pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is grainy, malty, grassy, hops, touch herbal. Medium sweet, moderate bitterness and body. Decent draft pils.

On tap at Luppolo 12, pours a dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out grape skins, gentle wild yeast, and soft mustiness. Flavour is dry and buggy, with a very nice dry grape skin character, wild yeast, and a touch of dry woodiness. Really nice grape must character and wild yeast.

In my point of view, it is a pleasant beer, my bottle was rather dry and hoppy with notes of malt and caramel, not bad, easy to drink. 20.07.2018, buying it in one supermarket close to Vasto, drinking it at Petacciato.

Thanks Massimo for this bottle. It is a kind of belgian ale with a touch of american pale ale, malty and hopp, coriander, orange peel. Sharing it with Massimo and Karina at Pettaciatto, hot and typical mediterrean weather.

Dark brown with a tan head. Roasted malts, light coffee, a touch of earthy hops, slightly bittersweet. Medium bodied. Nice enough beer but lacks many of the Baltic Porter hallmarks.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per l'orzo e il frumento. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta ed è persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. La carbonazione è frizzante, persistente ed insistita. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, cereali, spezie, lievito e frutta secca.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso l'orzo e il fruttato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. Il liquido è di apparenza velata. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è sufficiente. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca porta note di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, un accenno di resinoso quasi balsamico, spezie e agrumi.

Lattina. Al naso arrivano impressioni di luppolo e di fruttato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è carico. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul tetto della bocca si depositano note di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, pino, pompelmo, ananas e frutta tropicale.
