Bottle. Unclear medium orange color with a average frothy good lacing mostly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, toffee, notes off sugar / bubble gum / candy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Toweringly huge off-white head over pale amber beer with a reddish shine. Vinous, discreet jumble of fruitaroma’s, faint old wood, fruit- and lactic acid(s). Sweet fruit taste, with a very surprising flavour of incense and old wine. The cherryflavouring, unfortunately, is not really convincingly natural. Yet it is not bad - just too sweet. Pretty well-filled for an intrinsically light beer. There’s a velvety, oily texture. For the amateurs of sweet kriek, a pretty decent, artisanal sample. I hesitate to use the term ’stepstone’, but maybe, this...

Bottle. Dark brown with a tan head. Molasses, malt, and slight fig aroma. Rich malt flavor - slight roast and slight chocolate, but more caramel, molasses, and a bit of smoke. LIngering malty sweetness. Body is both thin and rich at the same time (but we’ll call it a bit weak and is the main thing that takes away from the overall enjoyability).

Bottle. Mandarin and lime aroma. Pale golden with massive carbonation and a big creamy head. Lemony light fruit flavor, light metallic yeast, quickly fading. Fresh, but not exiting.

Dark colour, smal head. Fruity aroma. Fruity taste as well, rather sweet and malty. Complex and full-bodies. The alcohol does not dominate the taste.

750 ml bottle, from Country Club Liquors; Nose of light spices, and monor chocolate notes; clear dark brown with a huge, glass lacing, very long lasting beige head; flavor of milky chocolate, spices, and some light hop bitterness. Not like american or English stouts, kind of a mix of a dubbel and a little stout. Would make a nice light session brew except for the 9%ABV!

Bottle picked up from Beers of Europe last month. Pours warm golden colour, and has a slightly sharp almost sour nose edging out the sweetness that could also be detected, I wondered whether this might in fact be a dodgy bottle but my concerns were put to one side as this turned out to be a fine Tripel. Tastes warm and spicey with yeasty flavours but was a touch on the sweet side, but otherwise a very nice beer.

This is good. Kind of a fusion style. Dry roasted malt, but also sour brett character in the aroma. Flavor is a little sour as well with light chocolate as well as a light oatmeal stout flavor. Very smooth and easy to drink; the high abv sneaked up on me.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, amber golden with a small, dense, white head. Aroma of fruit and yeast. Medium body, quite dry with pale malts, lightly yeasty with a limited bitterness. A very quaffable Triple. 050407
