330ml bottle into glass. Subdued malty nose. Copper coloured beer with solid two finger white head. Lots of tiny bubbles. Slight zing in the mouth, medium body. Initial hoppiness is followed by smoky malts then a light citric finish. Does taste like English ales. Delicious.

330ml bottle into pint glass. ’Serve at cellar temperature’ OK, I don’t have a cellar but it’s 30 degrees Celsius inside today, so 10 minutes in the freezer. Sweet dark chocolate nose. Totally impenetrable black beer with large solid tan head. Body is surprisingly light, even spritzy on the tongue. Ending with bitter cocoa. Slightly lingering. A bit light on for my taste but OK.

Bottle. Cloudy brown with an off white head. Aroma of chocolate, brown bread, coriander, herbal oranges - rather odd. Taste has light roast, tangy wheat, oranges and somewhat intrusive spices. Finish is dry and spicy. Refreshing, unusual.

Bottle. Cloudy orange with a white head that fades fairly quickly - looks like ginger beer with a head. Aroma of ginger, a little wheat and lemon. Thin, highly carbonated. Sweet and soft drink-like with lots of ginger, moderate bitterness with some hints of a wit finish - a little tanginess, coriander, some bitterness. There’s a little fleshy fig there too, but wouldn’t have picked it if it wasn’t on the label. A ginger beer with some mildly intrusive fruit and beer notes.
