Bottle @ VBPF’12. Léger dorée présentant une trouble minime, col blanc. Arôme sent comme un vieux cendrier, houblon herbacé et fleuri avec une pointe de citron. En bouche, houblonné amer sans plus, fini est assez typique belge oscillant entre houblon fleuri et fruité; citron et ce malt sec pâle.

Bottle at Kulminator, March 2012. (Vintage 2008) Hazy golden with a medium white head. Fruit, caramel, yeast and some earth. A light sourness and a medium mouth feel. Drinkable but nothing extraordinary.

Aroma is spicy with lots of anise and licorice. Also hints of sugar. Flavour is really stuffed with anise and licorice. Also some other spices and brown sugar. Feels a lot like Gouden Carolus Christmas. Not your typical Dubbel.

Bottled, at tasting at _angst_. Hazy golden, rich creamy head. Sugary pineapple aroma. Sweet and fruity with medium body and spritzy rounded mouthfeel. Honeyish with some saccharine. Salty bitterish finish. Lacks depth.

330 ml bottle bought @ Etre Gourmet. Shared at epic tasting on February 11. Pours golden with a big white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some lacing. Smell is sweet and slightly malty with bread, sweet fruits, belgian yeast and hints of farmyard and citrus. Taste is sweet, slightly tart, malty and slightly metallic with floral nectar, citrus, leather and nuts. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. Finish is sweet, dusty and slightly spicy. Taste and smell was a bit off in an unexpected way. Might have been a bad bottle.

Reddish brown beer, beige head. Fruity aroma, berries, caramel, lactic acid, slightly herbal. Light tart berry flavour, malts, light honey sweetness. Slightly astringent. Lively carbonation, fruity finish. Really nice.

Draft. Brown beer with a beige head. Sweet malt and caramel aroma with spice. Xmas spice and yeast flavor with caramel and light dark fruits. Medium bodied. Xmas spice and caramel lingers with yeast, light dark fruits, and light tartness.
