7/12/2024. Bottle bought at Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear bright copper amber with a very short lasting frothy head. Aroma is figgy, stone fruits, citrus, flowers, dried fruits, perfumed edge. Quite sweet with an odd bitterness. Moderate body, quite fizzy. A little odd and underwhelming.

9/XI/24 - 75cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Efteling huisje, BB: 2026, 02-10:22 (2024-1199)
Clear dark blond to gold beer, big creamy yellowish head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: very hoppy, some marijuana, malty, grains, a bit yeasty, banana, fruity. MF: very lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: band-aid, pretty sweet, a bit grassy, marijuana, hoppy, chemical, ripe banana. Aftertaste: yeasty, chemical, some band-aid, sugary, pretty disappointing for a Blaugies beer. :-(

37,5cl Fles van De Laat. Mistig oranjegouden kleur, witte kraag. Licht gistig, vrij zoet, appels, appelmoes, oude koekjes, alcohol, fruitig, vrij generieke Tripel eigenlijk, medium body. Moet zeggen dat ik lichtelijk teleurgesteld ben.

Snally: black with a tan head. Vegetal, peppers, coffee. Sweet. Plenty of chocolate and coffee notes. Some tree. Fine.

Draft at Snallygaster 2024. Poured a pitch black color with a small tan head. Aroma was an immediate blast of coffee, roasted chocolate malts. Barrel? Vanilla, woody, coffee is pleasant stuff in this one.

Draft @ BXL Beerfest. Hazy blond colour, white foam. Nose of grass, grainy, some cow fodder, yeasty and light sweet.
