Deep reddish brown ale with no head. Sweet butterscotch and chocolate in aroma. Dry powdery chocolate in mouth, but very thin bodied. Wet dog overtone. May 2005.

Quite pale orange-amber; fluffy cream-white head. Hops, hops, gorgeous hops... Hopsacks, sweet cookies, raisins - and some cardboard ending in a real lemony nose. Hoppy, but not at all bitter taste, quite some sweetness, again cookie or cake taste. Lemongrass and lemonbalm flavours. Slight burning MF, but light body. Hopstaste gets metallic without bittering effect in the aftertaste. It is a bit simplistic, not quite balanced. OK, but certainly not "one of the most innovative beers in the micro-brewing industry" as they claim themselves. Thanks, Poperinge.

Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a medium foamy slightly off-white head. Aroma of cascade hops is clearly present with a nice touch of citrus. Taste is also characterized by cascade hops with a clear citrus touch and a quite bitter finish. Body is above average and carbonation is a bit low. Interesting take on the style.

Bright amber colour. Light Willamette and caramel aroma. Body is moderate; flavour light and sweetish - Willamette and caramel again.

Dark straw colour. Aroma is largely grainy, with some slightly sweaty yeast notes. Bland palate - hints of grain and earthy hop. Low bitterness. Sweetish, bland finish. No honey. No pilsner. Just boring, boring beer.

Golden IPA with a creamy white head. Light hops and citrus in aroma. Good hoppiness lingering in mouth, with good citrus character. Some sweet notes in finsih. Great Canadian IPA. Thanks JM.

Ruby-chestnut colour. Plummy, slightly chocolatey aroma. Dusty, chocolatey palate. Full flavour. Finish is hoppy dry with a hint of roast, plums. Stoutish - too roasty for a porter (but if I had a nickel for every time I’ve said that...)

Clear brown with beige head.Nose of dry malt, nothing else.Dry malt flavor, lightly roasted I detect no fruit whatsoever unlike others. Better than it was 5 years ago, when they last made it. Thin and roasty like a London Porter should be.

The Pacific Northwest in a bottle. Huge cascade hoppy nose, citrusy hop accented body and then a solid bitter finish. Not overly complex, just a straight forward beer for your average hophead!
