Description
In December 2006, The Hardys & Hansons Kimberley Brewery and all of its public houses were sold in a multi-million-pound deal to Greene King brewery. The surviving brands are now brewed in Bury St Edmunds.

Cask at the Longboat Inn, Penzance on 26th December 2025. Clear russet brown with shallow, dull foam and scant lacing. Nutty maltiness in aroma. Further nutty malts in-mouth - hazelnut. Solid malty finish. Smooth texture and a medium body.

Cask at the Spreadeagle, Mayfair on 19th December 2025. Deep reddish copper with dens and lasting off-white foam and full lacing. Malty aroma with leafy hoppiness. Rich nutty maltiness in-mouth with continued leafy hops and subtle spices. A broadly malty finish. Full body and a smooth mouthfeel. Very pleasant.

Fra cask på The Mossy Well: klar rødlig kastanjefarge med fint skum som varer lenge. God maltaroma og smak med fin bitterhet, litt bjørnebær og barskog. En slank og lettdrikkelig bitter.

Cask at The Camphill Club, West Byfleet. Clear chestnut. Thick foamy head with everlasting lacing. Aroma has unintrusive berries and caramel. Light-medium bitter. Woody. Berryvtang. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough.
