33cl can, BB 20/11/2026, batch# P984.

Can at home from the brewpub.

Can at home from the brewery. Pours deep brown with no head. Nose is light to medium smoke, dried fruits, cacao, nougat. Taste is cacao, medium smoke, earthy notes, a nice fruityness too. Light to medium bodied but with an oily texture, it’s got a soft carbonation too. Noice.

Can at home. Deep brown pour, almost black, with a quickly dissipating head. Nose is toasted malts and light chocolate, bread and vague dried fruits. Taste is bready, toasty malts, with hints of fruits and just a touch of hop presence for balance and more roundness. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared with Jorge and RJ at RJ's. Cellared this one for a year. Heavily acidic, got some apple/cider vibes to it too, not much malt character or funk shows, as a matter of fact its fairly one dimensional. Not terrible, but I was expecting more.

On tap at Van Moll Fest. Deeper golden pour with a thin white head. Very heavy on the spicy-savoury ginger, maybe too much so. On the other hand it shows very little coffee, especially for an 'espresso sour' Expected a lot (more than this), got disappointed

On tap at Van Moll Fest. The dragon fruit - as expected - is very subdued, barely shows any character, if anything it reminds me of watermelon. Whats more surprising is how held back the passion fruit is, its usually something very easy to bring out. All in all quite muted in intensity, the flavour doesnt really match the ABV

330 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full head that settles quickly. Aromas of sour woody whisky, dry caramel, raisins and toasted malts. Flavors of whisky, dark fruit, subtle chocolate and toasted malts with a little odd sour/peaty note. The ABV is notable on the finish. Nice enough.
