Bottle, 0.33l. Murky brown/amber pour, half finger soapy off-white head, short lasting. Minimal lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, sweet and malty. Toasted caramel, wood notes. Liquory background. Not bad. Medium body, lively carbonation. Average mouthfeel, a bit prickly, slightly chewy texture. Bittersweet taste, liquory and roasty. Malty aroma, roasted malt, toasted caramel. Bready, nutty. Wooden barrel notes, herbal background, mild spicy. Strong alcohol presence, Bourbon, liquory, warming, dry, lingering burn on the togue. Still, not overwhelming, nicely balanced. Long lasting finish, dry and liquory, woody herbal aftertaste, mild vanilla notes. Pretty good.

Keg at Six DN, Aberdeen. It pours clear pale blonde with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is soft, clean, doughy, bready, cereal and toasty grain. The taste is crisp, firm dry, light bitterness, toasty grainy, cereal, grass, some dull fruity vibes and light spice. Finish is dry. Light to medium body and decent, foamy white head. Light, rounded and very drinkable. Can't complain.

Pours suspiciously clear for a witbier, straw yellow, with a minor sized, low stability white head that had big bubbles, but by the time of writing this one line has already vanished. Scent is citric, milder coriander. dry, with a sharp touch. Taste is sharp, mild acidic touch by the wheat, yet not sour. light bitterness, drying body, not by the absence of Sugars per se ( there is some sweetness ) but more the astrigent side . Medium thin body, medium high to high carbo.

33cl bottle; BB Mar 2022. Drank in the Bier Paleis, Brugge on 3rd Feb 2020. Light haze to the pale body, white crown on top. The nose has a little wheat and coriander coming through, taste similar; refreshing and pleasant without knocking your senses to pieces.

To my knowledge, the second special 75 cl bottle presented by Ebly near the end of the year, this time an intended Weizenbock, a form of (proportionally) strong Bavarian wheat beer formally consolidated by Schneider in 1907 but rarely practiced outside of Germany - and hardly ever in Belgium so far. Strong gusher, lost about 1/5 of the bottle to the sink. Off-white, medium thick but opening and very irregular, cobweb-lacing head, peach-hued golden blonde with yeast flakes floating around everywhere. Aroma of hard caramel, overripe strawberry, strong iron shavings (!), banana bread, damp straw, cooked sweet potatoes, cloves, fried apples, soggy cereals, light background DMS. Sweetish onset, red apple, banana and pear with a faint dash of strawberry but nowhere sugary, sourish undertone, medium carbonation; thinnish cereally and bit grainy, thinly bready maltiness with a very light caramelly edge but much more outspoken metallic edges (weirdly), leading to a yeasty-fruity finish with phenolic spicy notes (clove) and soft floral hop bitterishness - while that iron effect keeps 'zinging' in the background. Feels 'empty' and way too metallic, needs more breadiness and is clearly out of balance, not to mention the gushing... I think Weizenbock is best left to the Bavarians, this is very obviously flawed and rather unpleasant to drink.

Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Gusher! Managed to save most of the beer luckily. Pours a hazy dark amber colour with a very thick slightly off white head. Very nice looking beer. Aroma is strong of alcohol, whisky, wood, slight vanilla and a spiciness of ripened fruit. Taste is tangy, acidic, slightly sweet but also a tad sharp. Slight peachy grape flavours. Can detect the wood and whisky from the barrel which is quite pleasant, can also taste the alcohol but that is to be expected for a beer of 12%. i would say it is a bit unbalanced but still quite a nice sipper. Worth a try.
