Bottle. Hazy amber with a modest cream head that lasts pretty well. Aroma of dough, vanilla, flowering herbs, apricot, caramel. Taste is sweet with caramel, almonds and apricots, dough, vanilla, angelica, cloves. Seems drier and spicier at the end as you drink on.

16/05/2012 Open Baladin Roma (tap). In bocca è dolce, malto, caramello, miele, abbastanza ben equilibrata. Corpo medio, carbonazione soft. Discreta, ma niente di eccezionale.

16/07/2011 Open Baladin Roma (tap). Servita in teku. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. E’ comunque una ottima bevuta.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of sweet caramelized malt is sublime with some complex ester (banana and other sweet fruits) as well as some lightly floral hops. Taste is very potent with a complex mix of fruity ester and banana bread with a rightly balanced sweet caramelized malt body and lightly floral hops at the end. Very nice discovery from a brewer I didn’t know existed.

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuitty malt with light vinous notes, treacle, chalky notes. In mouth, a smooth herbaceous belgian style ale (oh, its a ESB?), herbal hops, caramel, nice and smooth. Bottle at Mondial 2011, June 11 2011.
