Clear red brown beer, irregular yellowish head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, sweet, caramel, strawberry jam. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, jam, sugary, honey, pretty bitter, some citrus, sweet malts, hoppy bitterness. Aftertaste: caramel, sweet touch, fruity, sugary, nice bitter hops, jam. Very decent beer, however I would've classified it as a barley wine. (Did not know the style until I entered my rating.)

22 oz.bottle, purchased @ CBC. Batch 01, bottled AUG / 12. Deep golden amber color no head at all. Low carbonation. Nose is really herbal and floral. Flavor of herbs, citrus, rosehips, and some light grain. As it gets warm I taste flowers exclusively. It has a tea like quality. Short clean finish. Decent but not something I would get again.

Draft at the brew pub. 16 oz. tulip glass. Color is a purple hazy with an amber type hue. Take a guess at the nose? Yeah, fruity plum. Hints of yeast. Taste is very much how it tastes. Mouthfeel and body is light. The brewer says in his description that it has a effervescent feel, he was right! Very lively and fresh. Nice beer.

Draft at the brew pub. 16 oz. pint. Hazy golden in color. With aromas of citrus hops and bready malt. Dry texture with a lingering bitterness. The body is on the full side for a pale ale. Lots of malt with solid amount of hops. After slowly sipping I really wanted to like this. Just very plain.

Draft at the brew pub. 5 oz taster. Hazy amber is color, thin ring of head. Aromas of grapefruit and lots of floral notes. Taste is citrus infused. Peach, grapefruit along with pine and slightly resinous notes. Bitterness lingers for a long duration. Hops are Earthy and green. This is flavorful and balanced well with the right level of malt. Damn tasty!

Draft at the brew pub. 5 oz taster. Nose is almost nothing at all. Light weak roast at best. Taste is average. Chocolate malt, light espresso notes. Roasted barley. The finish doesn’t really longer. It’s short and dry. Average without any problems.
