(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours quite cloudy dark gold with a thick white head and a bit of lace. Aroma of white coconut, ripe canteloupe, sticky pineapple, canned peach, dill-like herbs, some malty heft behind, maybe a little citrus bitter accent. Flavour is quite sweet overall, overripe canteloupe soaked in coconut water, peach candies, some pineappe, fresh dill-like Sabro herbaceousness, citrus oils and resins more as an accent, decent amount of cereal/brioche heft to the malt, drying finish with some resins and lots of lingering coconut/herbs providing light to moderate bitterness. Lightish body for style, oily, moderate carbonation, a little boozy warmth for something that doesn't have the ABV to match being a DIPA. I enjoyed the hop profile here, interesting as I don't always love melon notes. Just a little rough.

Hazy golden colour with an orange hue. Fizzy, bubbly white head with low retention, leaving some small froth around. Orange juice aromas sweetened with Belgian sugars and the oats. The taste is also orange juicy, and not too sweet. Enough hops in the finish to dry this. Even some light spiciness, zing. Gets better as you drink it.

(473ml can from Intermarche St Jean, Quebec City) Pours lightly hazed orange-gold with a decent white head and spotty lace. Aroma of pink grapefruit peel and pulp, red berries, pineapples, dried flowers and soft. malty notes. Flavour is moderately sweet with juicy fruit candies, grapefruit pulp, sweet pineapple, peach, potpourri florals, some sugary malt and brioche, drying somewhat in the finish which is lightly astringent and quite floral, citrus peels in the background, slides towards soapy in the aftertaste. Light to medium body, somewhat creamy, moderate carbonation. Solid stuff as usual from Boréale, not the most juicy but one of the better implementations of Talus for me.

(473ml can from Intermarche St Roch, Quebec City) Pours near-opaque pale orange with a decent but stable eggshell head and lace. Aroma of ripe mango and canned peach, soft but clear coconut, overtones of orange peel. Flavour is quite light overall, crispy crackery sort of malt with soft notes of grapefruit and citrus peels, grassy hops, dried flowers, very soft coconut that shows up as a creamy note in the finish, light bitterness but some astringency. Light bodied, soft slightly creamy carbonation. Very light PA in terms of flavours and not a ton of coconut. Refreshing, fine enough but nothing particularly special. Not on the level of Boreale's better hops.
