Can that pours a dark brown colour with a little ruby highlights. The head is warm beige-brown, frothy, a tad creamy with decent retention and not much lace. Big bitter coffee nose, cacao powder, roasted malt base and hints of graded nuts and spicy spices. The taste shows a little sweetness, which is not found in the nose, but does not go too far. Chocolate, milk chocolate with some bitterness building in the finish, showing grind coffee. A touch of vanilla blending everything. Nothing too rich, not a dessert beer, but a decent coffee stout with a tad chocolate.

Can: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of juicy tropical flavors with some citrus hoppy undertones. Taste is also a mix of juicy citrusy flavors with some tropical hopy undertones and some residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable juicy IPA with a nice touch from the yeast strain.

(473ml can from Intermarche St Jean, Quebec City) Pours near-opaque dull gold with a thin white head and some light lace. Aroma of ripe mango, tangerine, white grape, pineapple, candied garlic, round estery fruity profile, slight peppery funky vibes. Flavour is moderately sweet and lightly tart, notes of tangerine and grapefruit, soft mango, floral grapes, melon, soft pineapple that gives those kveik-like vibes to the middle/finish, smooth yeast profile overall though; semi-dry finish with light grapefruit bitters and tropical florals over a dusty chalky minerality. Light body, average plus carbonation, creamy feel though. Not familiar with Hydra so I'm learning as I go, but there's certain roundness to the profile. Quality brewing as you expect from Boreale.

(473ml can from Intermarche St Jean, Quebec City) Pours very hazy orange-gold with a thick whitish head and spotty lace. Aroma of lychee, white grape, white grapefruit, kiwi, ripe mango, undertones of sweet pale malt, hint of booze. Flavour is mid-sweet, highly floral; kiwi, papaya, pulpy white grapefruit, heavy citrus oils, soft oat malt feel, drying and heavily floral low to moderate bitterness finish thats a touch soapy. Medium bodied, oily to creamy, softly carbonated. Lovely aroma and initial flavour hit but devolves into something a bit too soapy for me towards the finish; really solid as a grocery store shelfie however.
