A golden pils with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, crisp biscuit malt with German grassy hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy German hops, light mineral notes, light cereals, pleasant. On tap at Montréal location.

Oh my, do I love the aromas of this one from the first pour. A mix of cilantro and gooseberries. Some spiciness, fruitiness and mild graininess. Slightly hazed, golden colour with a frothy white cap, average stay, leaving some nice foamy-soapy lacing. Oh wow - this is a lager! Pilsner malts giving that nice spicy feel, with the Nelson Sauvin adding a little grassiness, dryness in the finish. Everything here is so well-balanced between the grainy, spicy malts and the fruity, grassy hops. I really like this lager, reminding me of a West Coast-style Pale Ale. So much punch for a lager!

Poured from the tap. Coming to the end of what I haven’t rated on tap… clear amber with small white head. Very mild caramel malt, fairly watery, uninspired.

Clean light-golden colour with a big frothy-bubbly white head, decent stay and some dirty little lacing patches. Herbal, grassy nose over the corn and malt base. The taste shows the hops cutting the malt sweetness. Maybe there is no corn in this one? It is refreshing, crisp and pretty hoppy for the style. Quite nice actually.

Dark brown colour with some copper-ruby highlights. The head is big, light mocha-beige coloured, with good retention and leaving some nice creamy lacing. Aromas of fruity, dark malts, hints of nuttiness, molasses with the coffee blending well. The molasses are big in the taste, but a smooth, silky, slightly oily mouthfeel follows. The finish has some decent hops creating a mild dryness. The cacao is very well-blended in here, so not offensive. Quite a smooth breakfast stout that feels lower in alcohol. Nice!

Clean, golden colour with a frothy white cap, good retention and foamy lacing. Mild aromas of citrus (lemon, orange zest). Some decent bitterness, dryness. Lightly oily mouthfeel in the middle. Gets a slight hazed up as it pours. Orange peel, zest and milder all around, but still hoppy for a lager. Decent!

Pretty clean, light golden-yellow colour with a frothy white cap, decent stay and some foamy lacing streaks. Straw malt aromas with some cereal notes, mild caramel and some good grassiness to balance the sweetness, graininess. The hops do even better in the taste, as the sweet aspect is pretty much cut, to show the cereal grains instead. A fresh herbal hoppiness lingers. Even hints of spiciness, like Pils-malts. Quite a nice, crisp and refreshening Kellerbier.
