16 ounce can. Hazy orange gold pour. Large frothy beige head. Earthy, yeasty malt aroma hints at orange and apricot. Sharp citrus notes upfront. Orange and grapefruit are the predominant flavors. Some stickiness on the palate. A hint of orange pith and pine in the finish.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours near-opaque orange-gold with a thick white head leaving lace. Aroma of sweet preserved peach and pineapple, overripe canteloupe, candied orange, citrus peels, some semi-ripe mango mix of juice and piney resin, touch of alcohol warmth. Flavour is sweet up front with lots of candied citrus and melon, some peach/mango back notes, lightly floral and somewhat dank, rindy quality in the middle, lemon and orange oils, brioche malt core, prominent fruity slightly bready yeast, semi-dry finish that's got a fair bit of alcohol warmth and some spicy though lowish bitterness hop quality into the finish, herbal, spicy and slightly soapy Strata-type vibes in the aftertaste. Medium-bodied, soft to moderate carbonation, oily to creamy feel. Nicely brewed if a little rough with that booze popping out, Boreale sweet juice as expected, good mouthfeel. Tough to pick out the Zappa here but I feel like it could be blending into the Strata.

Light esters. Touch of plastic, too. Sweet, lacks spice. Sort of a quick beer. Touch of alcohol in the finish. I don't know what to make of it, but I'm not compelled.

Can: Poured a cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good carbonation and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with nice tropical fruit floral undertones and light mango notes. Taste is a mix of huge juicy citrusy notes with some light mango and tropical fruit notes with some hops floral undertones and light residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Very solid pale ale with great mix of juicy hops flavours.

Can that pours a very slight hazed, bright yellow colour with an off-white bubbly head, decent stay leaving some foamy patches. The typical graininess of a Kölsch with the sweet malt as the base and hints of hops. These last ones show up a little more in the taste as not super sweet as expected. Refreshing, crips mouthfeel. A nice balance between the grainy malts and light hops. A well-done Kölsch.

Pours murky mango into an English pint. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Mango and pineapple aromas. Soft with caramel, mango and papaya upfront turning to dry earthy sourdough, pith and peel in the lasting finish.
