Cette bière m’a laissé indifférent. À part un côté acidulé, il n’y a rien pour moi là-dedans qui fasse en sorte que je l’achète à nouveau.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Joes. Slightly unclear red color, medium to full sized beige head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, leaves, iron, overripe fruits. Tastes the same: malts, leaves, iron, overripe fruits, nuts, a hint of toasted malts. Decent body and carbonation.

500ml bottle. Clear amber colour with huge, creamy, superbly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Caramel malty aroma, herbal hoppy overtones, a floral touch close to chamomile. Taste is dry, herbal hoppy, piney, some orange zest, caramel malty background. slightly earthy. Bone-dry, herbal, nice composition.

500ml bottle. Clear, ruby red glowing dark brown colour with average to huge, frothy, effervescent, then rapidly diminishing, minimally lacing, ochre head. Fruity, malty aroma has notes of dark berries, bramble, blueberry, black currant, chocolately background, cautious yeasty overtones. Taste is dry dark malty, minimally roasty, slightly bitter hoppy, slightly fruity, slightly herbal, less explicit hints of dark berries, more earthy, woody, mossy, some peppery yeasty spiciness. Resembles a British Premium Bitter in many areas, especially in its fruit profile, has additionally a Belgian yeasty twist. A nice one.

Vraiment très houblonnée pour un porter. Un goût de plante et de malt très sucré prennent énormément de place.
