Bottle shared at the Kernel Brewery. Thanks to Mike (tendermorsel) - Cheers mate! Cloudy amber beer, tiny pale cream head. Light crisp palate. Nice fruity hops with semi dry and lacto sweetish malt underneath. A sweetish IPA overall - nice! Finishes with grapefruit, orange, mango and peach dancing around and mild seltzer like minerals. Semi dry finale. Nice! Very nice!

Can at Kernel Brewery tasting. It pours hazy orange, with a thin foamy white head. The nose is pine, orange sherbet, orange squash, varnish, peach and grapefruit. The taste is orange, tangy marmalade, mango, tangerine, peach, grapefruit, pine, resin, big hop bite and some metal, with bitter citric finish. Good balance, medium body and average carbonation. Update: I have had this plenty of times since my first rating and it never ceases to amaze me just how tasty and crushable this stuff is. Consistently great.

16oz can provided by MrBarleywine, thanks for hooking me up Mike! Pours a slightly cloudy deep golden color with a stingy white head that dissipates quickly. Smells of pine, resin, and a slight bit of citrus and dankness. If there’s any malt in here I can’t find it, but I really don’t miss it because I could smell this all night. Taste is mildly sweet bready biscuity malt being assassinated by an onslaught of hops. Resinous dank pine hops barely let any malt come through, but some do find their way in. Medium to thin body and level of carbonation, resinous bitter mouthfeel. This one is all about the hops, no shit right its a DIPA. There is a bitterness here, but its pleasant, aromatic and not harsh. This is a damn fine beer!

On tap at the Alchemist. Pours a slightly cloudy almost amber color with a fluffy white head that shows some resolve. Smells of earthy piney hops with traces of bready malt deep underneath. Taste is much the same earth and pine that are barley sweetened with a bready malt that struggles to show itself. Medium body and level of bubbles with a sticky resinous mouthfeel. Great IPA, if the Alchemist had opened at 3 I would have had more than one of these and not gotten filled up across the street with Hill Farmstead beers.

On tap at The Alchemist. Pours a deep brown with slight ruby highlight when held to light. Thinnish off white head was almost non existent before the glass got to my table. Smells tart and funky with cherries and prunes mixed with lemons and brown sugar. Taste is much like I expected. Tart fruity funky. Brown sugar and cherries start the show then some lemons jump in to make me pucker. Finish is a long lingering sweet tartness. Medium body with a huge level of bubbles and a tart puckering mouthfeel. I enjoyed this one, but felt it was a little meh. Really nothing wrong with it just a bit boring for my tastes.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a near clear reddish brown and a near white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of red sour fruits with a good amount of acid and a bit of a barnyard note. Flavor started with tart red fruits and grew to become quite sour and acidic with a bit of funk backing.
