Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 30/11/10. Slightly hazy gold in colour with a billowy white head. Buttery, pineapple and sherbet aroma. Flavour was dominated by diacetyl, with sweet pineapple and apricot fruit, a yeasty edge and clashing, bitter finish. A poor brew.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. An attractive amber with a loose white head; aromas of tropical fruits and butterscotch; think in the mouth with the same tropical fruit flavour followed by a good blast of English hops. I rather liked this.
