Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, berry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity. Cask, Stillage, Ship and Mitre, Liverpool. Surely a beer named after the mighty Bristol Rovers could have a bit more life about it ??!! Dark golden and malty, but oh so boring. Instantly forgettable.

Cask@EBF2008. Golden colour with particles floating around. Small head. Aroma is fruits and some hops with mild bitterish grassy notes. Flavour is the same with mild notes of grass and wood.

Cask at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Clear deep golden. Sweaty hay aroma. Medium dry with dense mouthfeel. Salty and buttery, chewy and pleasantly hoppy with long bitterness. A pleasant light bitter.

Bottle from Sainsbury. Gold, thin ivory head. Some hop on aroma. Some diacetyl to be honest. Yep, definitely buttery. Not sure if its intentional, but I don’t like butter in my beer. Yep, way too buttery.
