Pint in my local pub for the quiz night. Very lively but it was a new barrel. Good colour, smooth mouthfeel but not thr most flavour. All very acceptable but nothing special.

I was going to go to the Marble Arch pub in Manchester, but ran out of time, this train station beer is a happy second. Clear golden coloured brew with a thick head after a time of settlement. It has an easy enough texture for its four percent strength, which is expected. It's clean tasting though so this is an enhancement. It has mild examples of sweet sugary tropical fruits in its taste.

Can. A light haze on this orange gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Soft light pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Soft cooling pine. Mild hop spice. Mellow but pleasing winey orangey citrus. Mild hop spice on the finish. A tad sweet but the hop profile kept me coming back for more.

440ml can from Asda - murky orange body with a short white top. Big syrupy exotic fruit character, sweet and sharp, a little cloying in places, but still very dangerous with the elevated ABV.

Cask at Salt, Sheffield on 6th March 2026. Almost clear pale gold with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Tangy citrus fruits and a few subtle spices. A grassy kick and a finish of lasting grassy hoppiness. Medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel. Superb.

Draught keg at Tønne, Leicester. Light gold, pretty hazy with a small uneven white head and lots of lacing. Light aroma here with notes of pineapple and grapefruit. Taste is more engaging with a lovely initial flavour combination of vanilla and cracked wheat, delving more deeply into the hop immediately afterward. Short finish. Watery body. It everything I'd want from a session IPA but at 40% the intensity. It's okay but not really feeling it.

I feel somewhat forlorn after joining a local series of beers beyond the first release. This second in the series of triple hops is light golden coloured with a fair head. A little watery in texture but fine, giving it a sessionable character over the interestingness of its hop combo for me. The combo does impart some tropical fruitiness though, evident in both aroma and taste though.

Keg at Pig and Whistle, Gleadless - bit of an ugly fucker, cloudy yellow murky with no head. Despite the look, very tasty, very tropical, pineapple and coconut hit nicely. Wish it looked prettier.
